Nova-Core: Our Licensing and Distribution Engine

Nova-CoreLicensingInfrastructure

When Quinn FAQ needed a home, a way to handle licensing, product tiers, and distribution, I could’ve duct-taped together a bunch of third-party services and called it a day. Instead, I built Nova-Core.

Nova-Core is Position5’s internal licensing and distribution platform. It exists because I needed to prove something to myself and to anyone paying attention: I can architect a full Stripe API integration, handle product creation, manage subscription tiers, and distribute software, all under one roof.

Right now it lives as a private repository powering Quinn FAQ’s commercial side. It handles the licensing keys, the tier management, the distribution pipeline. It works, and it works well. But it’s not ready for public consumption yet. There are iterations to make, edges to smooth, and extensibility to build out.

The roadmap has Nova-Core expanding to support Shopify Apps, Stripe Plugins, WooCommerce extensions. Basically anywhere independent developers need to distribute and monetize their work. The goal is a platform that other builders can lean on.

Salesforce integration is not on the roadmap. If you know, you know.

Nova-Core isn’t the product people see. It’s the infrastructure that makes the products people see possible. Every premium Position5 release from here on out runs through it.
